We had a great time on our field trip to the Indian Creek Nature Center on Thursday! Thank you to all of the adults that came along with us!

Sight Words
We have now learned all of the first grade sight words. Students are doing a pretty good job of reading the words, but we could use some extra practice with spelling them. The sight word lists from now on will be a review of some of the trickier first grade words. Please practice reading and writing these sight words each night with your child. Our goal is for students to be able to read the words quickly without having to sound them out and to spell them accurately in their writing.
