Sights by Educasic

If you've already read through the welcome letter and the "To Do List", then you know I would love for you to take advantage of a free (for the next few days) app called Sights by Educasic. It is a fantastic app that helps your first grader learn their sight words quickly and conveniently though your tablet or smartphone. When you download and register with our class by using the code: 9pqzw, our class sight words for the entire year are loaded and ready to go for you to start practicing with your first grader! The great part about this is that your child can progress through this at their own pace so they can practice as many or as few times as they need. I will be using this app to keep track of sight words for each student, so you can track their progress at school, and I can track their progress at home...it's a win, win!

This app is completely FREE and is a great way to practice a very important reading skill with your child. You don't have to start using it before school starts, but I highly encourage you to download it and check it out. It never hurts to get a jump start on sight words!
