Spring is Here (Finally)!

I hope you all enjoyed a relaxing and fun spring break last week! I know I am excited for this warmer weather and hope to not see snow again until next December! Thank you to everyone that was able to make it to conferences this week! I absolutely love meeting with you and sharing all the growth your child has made so far this year. If you were impressed at what they've done so far, just wait until you see how much they've grown by the end of the year...this is when we really kick it into high gear and learn a TON! Thanks also to those of you that donated for our class citizenship projects. The kids were so proud of the work they did, and were so excited to know that they can make a difference at such a young age!

April 25th - Field Trip to the Nature Center (more information coming home soon)

May 1st - April Reading Logs Due

June 7th - Last day of school with 11:45 dismissal

Food Drive

First graders are organizing a food drive to donate to families in need. The following items are needed at the Olivet Neighborhood Mission: cereal, pasta, rice, canned fruits and vegetables, and boxed meals.

Please bring donations to Mrs. Wilaby’s room by Friday, April 5th.
