We made it through a full week of school with no delays, early outs, or cancelations!!! I am hoping this will be the continued pattern for the rest of the year. Make sure to check out our important reminders below for updates on our extended school day starting after spring break, and our new last day of school with an early dismissal.
This week, we worked hard to do some reflecting about what we have learned so far. We are excited to share our growth with you during student lead conferences the week after break! We have some fun things to share with you, and our first graders are so proud of how far they come, and I am too!
We ended the week with a school wide spring celebration! We worked together as a class to decorate our classroom door for spring, and it turned out amazing! I hope you all have a fun and relaxing spring break...enjoy the warmer weather!

Sight Words
Please practice reading and writing these sight words each night with your child. Our goal is for students to be able to read the words quickly without having to sound them out and to spell them accurately in their writing. Students can also practice these sight words through fun games and activities at the following website: https://www.spellingcity.com/1stgrade1516/
Be sure to click on the “Week 21” list.

Happy Birthday to you...March!
