Is It Spring Yet?!?!

It seems we just cannot escape this crazy weather. I know the district is working hard to make sure all students, families, and staff are safe during these days, so for that I am thankful, but gee whiz I am ready for a regular week of school with no weather related interruptions! Even though it was another short week, we had a lot of fun and learning.

Dr. Seuss' Birthday Celebration - March 1st

Education Night - Rescheduled for March 7th with some part of the Fun Fair incorporated

Spring Break- March 18-22

Extended School Day Dismissal time 4:05- starting March 25th

Upcoming Events/Reminders

Fun Fair Basket

Thanks to those that donated to make our Fun Fair basket this year. Even though the Fun Fair got cancelled, they are planning to incorporate some of the elements from the Fun Fair into Education Night on March 7th. I believe this will include the class baskets for auction. I will send more information as I get it.

Sight Words

We will do week 17 sight words again next week. Please practice reading and writing these sight words each night with your child. Our goal is for students to be able to read the words quickly without having to sound them out and to spell them accurately in their writing.
