This four day week has been filled with lots of learning and celebrations! During this week, we have been working hard on making text-to-self and text-to-text connections, part-part-whole and our number sense during math, as well as working hard during reading rotations and writing five star sentences. On Friday, we attended a K-2nd celebration and celebrated our hard work during this school year thus far and played Minute to Win It games!
This upcoming week, we will assess our knowledge in reading groups, start our new shared reading story "Pigs in a Rig", continue to work hard our number sense, and have a sight word test at the end of the week!

Fall Picture Retakes -- October 17th
Sight Words
Students will be reviewing the following kindergarten sight words next week. Please practice reading and writing these sight words each night with your child. Our goal is for students to be able to read the words quickly without having to sound them out.

Changes in End of Day Schedule
Please notify the office by 3:00 pm if there is a change in your child’s end of day schedule. You can call the office (848-5280) or email the office staff. Be sure to include all three of our secretaries on your email, incase one is out of the office for the day.
