That's a Wrap on Semester One!

We had a good combination of wrapping things up this week as the semester ends, and beginning some new things in our classroom. We showed off our knowledge on district assessments in math and read aloud and did a fabulous job. I gotta brag a little, we've got some hard working, smart kiddos in our class and I am so proud of them! We started a new unit in science on sound and light. We did some explorations in our classroom and got to go on a mini field trip to Point to learn about sound from some 9th graders. We also changed up our math and reading structures just a little bit to move more toward our district goal of personalized learning. I'm excited to give the kiddos more choice in their day and help teach them to stay focused and self motivate to complete their jobs and learn! As always, check our Facebook page for daily updates and please contact me with any questions or concerns!
