We had a great first week back from spring break! We began learning a lot of new things! We started learning about personal narratives, double digit subtraction, and plants! We have been very excited this week with our various science experiments and planting of different seeds. Make sure to check in on Seesaw for your first grader's observations and work in our new units! We ended the week with a cozy PJ day and movie! Check below for important upcoming information!

Sight Words

We have now learned all of the first grade sight words. Students are doing a great job of reading the words, but we could use some extra practice with spelling them. The lists will now be a review of some of the trickier first grade words. Please practice reading and writing these sight words each night with your child. Students can also practice these sight words through fun games and activities at the following website: https://www.spellingcity.com/1stgrade1516/
