Thank you so much to all of you for taking time out of your busy schedules to see how much your first grader has learned this year! It was great to talk to you all about the successes and growth I see in your children each day, I am very proud of them all!

Toys For Tots Collection

Prairie Schools are pleased to be collection sites for Toys for Tots again this year. Toys are needed for boys and girls ages birth through 17. You may help by donating a new, unwrapped toy at Crest, Heights, Hill, Ridge, View, Creek, Point, the High School, Transportation or District Office. Thanks for making a child's holiday a bit merrier!

Sight Words

Students will be learning the following first grade sight words next week. Please practice reading and writing these sight words each night with your child. Our goal is for students to be able to read the words quickly without trying to sound them out. Students can also practice these sight words through fun games and activities at the following website: https://www.spellingcity.com/1stgrade1516/
